From Customer Calls to Building Careers – Rishabh Massey’s Entrepreneurial Journey”
“I was on a customer call when I received another call for a recruiter position. To be honest, I didn’t even know what the word ‘recruiter’ meant at that time,” recalls Rishabh. Despite his inexperience and young age, someone believed in him enough to give him a chance. That one opportunity became the foundation of a remarkable journey.
Over the next few years, Rishabh built his expertise in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, working with some of the country’s leading organizations. His career spanned across Lite Bite Foods (A Dabur sister entity), Cars24, WhiteHat Jr., and Monster, where he managed recruitment for the APAC Region. These roles exposed him to multiple industries, leadership styles, and diverse talent ecosystems — experiences that shaped him both personally and professionally.
By 2020, Rishabh was ready to take a bold step forward — entrepreneurship. His first venture was in the food industry, launched at the height of uncertainty during the pandemic. Two years later, in 2022, he co-founded a company in the automobile service space. While he eventually stepped down from his role there, the lessons learned about resilience, leadership, and scaling businesses became invaluable stepping stones for his next chapter.
Throughout this journey one constant pillar of strength has been his family — especially his go-to person, his mother.
When Rishabh made the difficult decision to leave his job and pursue entrepreneurship, it was her unwavering moral and financial support that gave him the courage to move forward. “Whatever risks I was able to take, I could only take because she stood by me,” he says.
That courage led to the foundation of Bethel Group, co-founded with Rishi Choudhary in 2023. What started as a vision to provide agile recruitment and staffing solutions has quickly grown into a trusted partner for multiple industries across India. With an emphasis on understanding both clients and candidates deeply, Bethel Group reflects Rishabh’s philosophy of building meaningful connections and creating opportunities that change lives — just like the one call that changed his.
“From my very first break to now building Bethel Group, the common thread in my journey has been trust, support, and mentorship. Whatever I’ve been able to achieve is only because people — and especially my family — believed in me when I had nothing but the willingness to work hard. For that, I will always remain grateful,” Rishabh says.
